Airbus A320 Type Rating Course Outline:
Our Initial Type Rating Airbus A320 course is designed to equip pilots with the essential knowledge and hands-on proficiency to operate the Airbus A320 safely and confidently. The program is based on the Flight Crew Training Program (FCTP) issued by Airbus Training and Flight Support Services and fully approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Indonesia.
Self Study CBT (Computer-Based Training):
Students will independently learn and acquire system knowledge using computer program.
CBT Class:
Engage in in hands-on demos and exercises that complement the theoretical content on Flight Training Device (FTD).
Classroom Session:
Performance, Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC), Crew Resource Management (CRM), Airbus A320 Standard Operating Procedure, DGCA Exam
Aircraft Procedure Training (APT):
The systems knowledge acquired in the CBT is reinforced and evaluated in the APT Trainer using the Airbus A320 Standard Operating Procedures on FTD.
Full Flight Simulator (FFS):
This phase using FFS is mostly dedicated to aircraft handling in Normal and Abnormal operations. All exercises are completed in a realistic environment allowing the crew to practice Standard Operating Procedures previously learned in the APT Trainer.
Base Training:
Trainees already Type rated where trainee has passed Skill Test.
Prerequisites:
To ensure consistent proficiency upon course completion, specific experience is required prior to entry. The following are the minimum prerequisites for admission into the FlyBest Training Center Initial A320 Type Rating course:
- Air Crew holding valid/current Commercial Pilot License and Instruments Rating, and
- Multi Crew Cooperation Training (MCC) & Jet Orientation (acceptable to FlyBest). Or, Logged min 200 hours in Turboprop/Jet multi crew commercial Aircraft.
- Fluent in English /ICAO Level 4 or above.
- Medical 1st Class Certificate
If a candidate does not meet these prerequisites, FlyBest Training Center may offer Entry Level Training (ELT) upon request.
Please note: If the applicable regulatory agency or a specific airline requires additional qualifications, those requirements will also apply.
